Buckwheat Almond Waffles

  • Yield: 6-8 waffles

Ingredients

  • 175 milliliters milk
  • 50 grams sorghum flour
  • 50 grams buckwheat flour
  • 50 grams almond flour
  • 20 grams sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Grease a waffle iron with oil and turn it on.
  2. Which the egg, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl until creamy.
  3. Add the three flours, salt, oil, and milk. Which until well blended.
  4. Once the waffles iron is heated, add 1/4 cup batter for each waffle.
  5. Close the iron and bake the waffles until light brown and cooked (about 3-4 minutes)
  6. Remove the waffles with a fork and place on a clean plate, repeat until all waffle mix if used up.
  7. Drizzle the waffles with maple syrup and enjoy with your favorite fruit!
