Candied Bacon Crackers

Ingredients

  • 18 Crunchmaster® Avocado Toast Crackers
  • 6 slices bacon cut into thirds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Arrange ovenproof wire rack over large rimmed baking sheet lined with foil.
  2. Arrange crackers on wire rack. Top each with piece of bacon. Tuck bacon ends under crackers. Brush with maple syrup. Sprinkle with brown sugar, pepper and paprika.
  3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until bacon is crispy and caramelized. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Optional: Top candied bacon crackers with jalapeño pepper slices or grated parmesan cheese if desired.
