  1. Preheat oven and prepare muffin pan as directed on the muffin mix package.
  2. Prepare muffin batter according to package instructions.
  3. Gently fold in shredded carrots and raisins or chocolate chips.
  4. Divide batter evenly into prepared muffin pan.
  5. Bake according to package directions, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool before serving.
