- Prep Time: 20 minutes
- Cook Time: 2 hours
- Total Time: 2 hours 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1½ cups Schär Chocolate Honeygrams, crushed
- 10 ounces white chocolate, finely chopped
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature
- 4 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
Instructions
- Prepare the ganache: Place the finely chopped white chocolate in a small heatproof bowl; set aside. In a small saucepan, bring the heavy cream to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring frequently to avoid scorching.
- Combine ingredients: Pour the hot cream over the white chocolate. Let stand for 5 minutes to allow the chocolate to melt, then stir until smooth. Whisk in the butter until fully melted and the mixture is glossy and well combined.
- Add flavor and chill: Stir in the matcha green tea powder until evenly incorporated. Let the mixture cool to room temperature. Fold in ½ cup of the crushed Schär Gluten Free Chocolate Honeygrams. Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm enough to scoop.
- Form the truffles: Using a teaspoon or small scoop, portion the chilled mixture and roll into 1-inch balls using your hands (lightly greasing your palms can help prevent sticking).
- Coat and serve: Roll each truffle in the remaining crushed Schär Chocolate Honeygrams to coat. Place in mini muffin paper cups for serving or storage. Keep chilled until ready to enjoy.
