Ingredients
- 1 bag Jessica’s Natural Foods Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1/2 cup salted butter, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup chocolate chunks (or chips)
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
- chocolate frosting, optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9×13″ baking pan.
- Pour cake mix into a large bowl. Add butter, brown sugar, water, eggs and vanilla and mix until combined (electric mixer recommended).
- Mix in chocolate chunks and walnuts.
- Spread batter evenly into pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Do not overbake.
- Once cool, frost if desired.
