Before you get to know us, get to know the reason it all started – Kate Laver. Kate has helped develop the way we look at nutrition and what we put into our bodies. Nutrition changed Kate’s life for the better and we want to share that story with you.
The meal replacement beverage the doctors prescribed for her was laden with sugar and dairy for calorie enhancement. As a result, she had many complications, including bottle rot, sleep apnea and digestive problems.So Kate’s parents Richard and Michelle Laver took matters into their own hands. With the help from a dear friend and vegan chef, the Laver’s developed our own meal replacement shake in their home kitchen one night. They left out the sugar and dairy products and replaced them with all-natural vegan ingredients, creating the world’s first dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free ready to drink meal replacement shake!™ Kate’s condition improved greatly. She no longer needed breathing treatment for sleep apnea, her digestion problems were a thing of the past and her mouth was once again healthy.
How it All Began
Kate Laver was born with Cerebral Palsy. At four years of age, Kate was failing to “thrive,” as her doctors put it. She was faced with feeding tubes, hospitals and numerous pharmaceutical drugs.
