Coeliac Greece

In Greece, as in many countries in Europe, knowledge of coeliac disease is limited and under-diagnosis of the disease remains a significant issue.

Coeliac Greece established in Athens since 2008, as a patient-driven non-profit organization with main objectives to promote awareness regarding coeliac disease in Greece, build a supportive community for patients, families and health care professionals through programs of education, advocacy and research.

The English version of Coeliac Greece website is not intended to offer information on the coeliac disease (which is addressed by each country’s corresponding Coeliac Society), but it aims to facilitate coeliac visitors and travelers into Greece in their daily interaction with the Greek Society and their access to gluten free food.
