- 1 pkg (4 oz) Crunchmaster® Multi-Seed Original
- Canned Goods
- 1 can (14 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- Produce
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 ripe avocado halved, pitted and peeled
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh cilantro
- Oil & Vinegar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Sauce
- 3 tbsp sesame paste
- Seasoning
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp each salt and pepper
- Seeds and Nuts
- 4 tsp sesame seeds, toasted
Instructions
- In food processor, mix together chickpeas, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, sesame paste, cumin, salt and pepper until smooth. Add avocado; pulse until smooth (if too thick, add up to 2 tbsp water).
- Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle with cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve with crackers for dipping.
- TIPS: Substitute lime juice for lemon juice. Spice up the hummus with a pinch of cayenne pepper or 1 finely chopped canned chipotle chili.
