Ingredients
- Marinade
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon lime juice
- 2 Teaspoons Chili Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Cumin
- 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Oregano dried
- 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon black pepper ground
- 1/4 Teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes crushed
- Kabobs
- 1 Pound Chicken Breast boneless, skinless, cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- 1 Red Onion cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- 1 Red Pepper cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- 1 Yellow Pepper cut into 3/4 inch pieces
- 1 Green Pepper cut into 3/4 inch pieces
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes.
- Place chicken in plastic bag with fajita marinade. Seal bag; shake; ensure all chicken pieces are well coated. Place bag in refrigerator for 1-8 hours.
- Preheat grill on medium-high heat. Thread marinated chicken, onion and peppers onto skewers. Discard leftover marinade.
- Place kabobs on lightly oiled grill; cover.
- Cook until chicken is opaque throughout, about 8-12 minutes, turning once or twice.
- Transfer to warmed platter and serve immediately.
