Hardboiled Eggs

  • 1 dozen Eggs
  • 1 dash Salt


  1. Place one dozen eggs in a large pot of tap-temperature water and add a dash of salt.
  2. Turn heat to medium and bring water and eggs to a boil.
  3. Once at a boil, remove the pot from the heat and cover with lid for 12 minutes.
  4. Rinse eggs under cool water to prevent the "green ring" from forming around the yolk.
