Tacos or Taco Salad

  • 1 Pound Ground Beef or protein of your choice
  • 2 Tablespoons Taco Mix all natural
  • 1 Head Iceberg Lettuce shredded
  • 1 Large tomato chopped
  • 1 avocado sliced or chopped
  • Mission Gluten-Free Tortillas optional
  • Salt to taste


  1. Brown ground beef or sauté fish in medium frying pan until cooked through.
  2. Drain off fat; add 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons taco mix.
  3. Bring to boil and simmer 10 minutes or until liquid reduces.
  4. While beef is simmering, chop and prep vegetables.
  5. Place lettuce into 4 medium size bowls; add beef, tomato and avocado.
  6. If desired, wrap in tortillas.
